In its official statement, INB100 said it had collected evidence from various platforms, including social media such as X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, as well as online forums such as DC Inside, TheQoo, and Nate Pann.
The evidence includes negative comments, spreading false information, insults, and sexual harassment against Baekhyun. "We are taking this step to protect the rights and dignity of our artists. We will take firm action without compromise," wrote INB100.
The agency also expressed its appreciation to the fans who also provided reports and promised to continue to carry out intensive monitoring and not open up space for mediation or peaceful resolution. This legal step was welcomed positively by fans as a form of protection for artists who are often the target of hate speech in cyberspace.
