BTS's Jin, Kian84, and Ji Ye Eun attended a press conference held by the production team for the program "Kian's Bizarre B&B" on April 15, 2025. On that occasion, the three celebrities revealed what it was like filming the latest Netflix variety show.
Ji Ye Eun, who is the youngest staff member on "Kian's Bizarre B&B," unexpectedly admitted that she kept her distance from Jin at the beginning of filming because of his BTS status. "At first I was nervous, so I tried not to get too close," she said, drawing laughter.
"However, Jin made me feel very comfortable. We became close quickly. To me, BTS means Jin oppa, nothing else," he added. Jin also admitted that people often hesitate to approach him because of BTS's fame. "That's why I tried to be extra friendly," Jin explained.
Kian84 then supported Ji Ye Eun's words, saying, "BTS is also Jin to me!" Kian84 also praised Jin's toughness during the variety show filming. "In some ways, Jin is a very strong figure. After three days, Ji Ye Eun cried. I cried after two days. It was tiring, both physically and emotionally. However, Jin is different.
We depend on him a lot," said Kian84. On that occasion, Jin also shared how impactful "Kian's Bizarre B&B" was, even among his closest circle. "I've never received so many messages like this in my life," said the idol. Jin further revealed, "Even when I won an award, I only received four or five messages.
I don't have many friends, but more than ten people messaged me this time to say the show was funny." According to Jin, it was this lighter, more approachable format that allowed fans, and even his friends, to connect with him in a new way.
"I'm really grateful. Maybe people aren't interested in other projects because they're not as accessible, but this program is different. I'm really touched," he said. Jin then reflected on the difficult filming conditions for the show.
"It was chaotic, and that's the point of the show. If it was too comfortable, it wouldn't be 'Kian's Bizarre B&B.' I gave it my all. I've always lived a busy life. Seeing Ji Ye Eun and Kian84 struggle made me think, 'Is it that bad?'" the idol concluded.
