Jung Eun Ji and Lee Jun Young were invited to be guest stars on the KBS program "The Seasons" hosted by Park Bo Gum on April 25, 2025. On that occasion, Park Bo Gum complained about being ghosted by Jun Young after starring in "When Life Gives You Tangerines".
The latest episode of “The Seasons” opened with Jung Eun Ji and Jun Young performing “Dream.” Park Bo Gum then commented, “I remember meeting you guys on music shows,” as he reminisced about Eun Ji’s time in Apink and Jun Young’s time with U-KISS.
It is known that Jung Eun Ji has debuted as an idol for 15 years, while Jun Young has been around for 12 years. Both of them, who have been more focused on acting, returned to singing on stage through "The Seasons".
Lee Jun Young admitted with a laugh, "I didn't expect to sing in front of so many people again. I'm used to singing solo, and it made me feel a little strange." Park Bo Gum then shared that even though Lee Jun Young has a shy demeanor, he has a surprising charm.
Park Bo Gum revealed that Lee Jun Young recently participated in a hip-hop dance battle. Jun Young proudly added, "Luckily, I made it to the Round of 16 this year." The man even showed off his dance moves.
Jung Eun Ji, who was watching, looked amazed and said, "How does it feel to move like that?" They then discussed the fact that Jun Young and Park Bo Gum starred together in the drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines."
Park Bo Gum said, "We didn't have any overlapping scenes while acting, which was disappointing. It's so nice to finally meet like this." Lee Jun Young also shared the moment he met Park Bo Gum. "We met twice, at the closing party and at the script reading," said Lee Jun Young.
However, Bo Gum immediately interrupted by complaining that he was ghosted by Jun Young after starring in the drama. Park Bo Gum added, "I remember exchanging phone numbers. I sent a message saying, 'Nice to meet you,' but never got a reply.
I thought maybe I had the wrong number, but after meeting yesterday, I realized the number was correct." Park Bo Gum continued with a grin, "I was a little hurt. But, you must have been busy. I should have knocked more often, maybe even called and said, 'It's me.'"
Hearing that, Jun Young quickly explained, "The phone I use tends to drop text messages often." Park Bo Gum then added jokingly, "We parted ways late that night, so you were probably tired. I didn't really mind it."
Seeing Jun Young's nervousness, Jung Eun Ji helped lighten the mood by saying, "He was shy when we first met." Park Bo Gum teased again, “Did he reply after you exchanged numbers?” to which Jung Eun Ji replied, “Fortunately, yes.
But he often just leaves me alone.” Lee Jun Young further explained, “To be honest, I rarely check my phone. There are 999 messages on my messenger app, so I often miss them,” and apologized, drawing laughter.
