South Korean actress Go Min Si received negative accusations in the middle of the airing of her latest drama, Tastefully Yours. Go Min Si was accused of having been a bully during her school days.
The allegations emerged in an anonymous post titled 'We are victims of school violence (bullying) from actress Go XX'. The post said that perpetrator A, who is suspected to be Go Min Si, had verbally abused, threatened, and extorted money from her schoolmates.
The post also revealed some clues about perpetrator A, leading netizens to speculate that perpetrator A is Go Min Si. Shortly after the post went viral, Go Min Si's agency, MYSTIC STORY, released a statement.
The agency denied the bullying allegations involving Go Min Si. "We would like to respond to claims that have been anonymously posted on certain online communities regarding our agency's actors.
We would like to clarify that these claims are clearly false and baseless," Go Min Si's agency said in a statement, as reported by Soompi. The agency then plans to take legal action to resolve the issue.
They also warned netizens not to spread false reports that are detrimental to the artist. "We have appointed legal representatives today and have begun reviewing and taking legal action, both civil and criminal," he continued.
"We ask everyone to refrain from reporting and circulating speculative reports about our agency's actors without verification, as such actions can cause great harm not only to the actors but also to the actors' families," he concluded.
