Jang Dong Yoon is reportedly going to be the main actor in the latest Korean drama titled Night in Heaven (literal title). Responding to the report, Jang Dong Yoon's agency, BH Entertainment, admitted that the actor is currently reviewing the offer.
"Night in Heaven is one of the projects offered to Jang Dong Yoon," said BH Entertainment on Thursday May 15, 2025. The drama Night in Heaven is an adaptation of a novel published in 2022 by Hwang Eui Geon. The story of this drama depicts the process of two people who are abandoned by the world and find salvation through each other's existence.
Set against the backdrop of a chaebol family and nightlife, the story follows a chaebol heir living a cursed life as an illegitimate child and the hero of a secret club in Cheongdam as they learn the meaning of true love together.
Jang Dong Yoon has reportedly been offered the role of Cheon Guk, a former taekwondo athlete and the hero of the secret club Si Bel Homme, the French term for handsome men. Details about the broadcast have not been announced yet, but director Yoon Jong Ho, who previously worked on Lovely Runner, will reportedly be leading the drama.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon will soon greet his fans through the latest drama The Mantis: Original Sin. This drama is scheduled to air in the second half of 2025. In this drama adapted from a French series, Jang Dong Yoon will act alongside actress Go Hyun Jung.
