MONSTA X's Hyungwon and actor Lee Do Hyun were announced to have completed their military service on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The two served in two different divisions for different periods of time. Lee Do Hyun served in the South Korean Air Force band for 21 months.

Several of his acting projects were released during that time period so he couldn't promote including Sweet Home 3, Death's Game and the film Exhuma. However, Lee Do Hyun attended the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards after winning the Best New Actor award in the film category for his acting in the film Exhuma.

Last April 2025, Lee Do Hyun received an offer to star in a new drama with Go Min Si, but  neither of them have responded to the news. "He (Lee Do Hyun) has received offers for various dramas, movies, as well as commercials and photo shoots.

Please look forward to his new activities," Yuehua Entertainment Korea said on the same day. On the other hand, there is MONSTA X's Hyungwon who completed his duties as an active soldier in Gapyeong for one year and six months.

The agency released Hyungwon's latest photo along with a message from the idol that reads, "MONBEBE, I miss you. Thank you to MONBEBE who waited for me. I was able to finish it in a healthy condition. Let's meet for a long time, MONBEBE."

MONSTA X will be releasing a special project to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary by re-recording several songs released from 2021 to 2023. The recording was done because several members were serving in the military.
