The news about South Korean actor and former SF9 member, Rowoon who will soon undergo military service was finally confirmed directly by his agency, FNC Entertainment.
MyDaily reported that the actor will officially enlist as an active soldier in the South Korean Army starting July 21, 2025. Shortly after the news broke, the agency quickly released a statement confirming the information.
"It is true that Rowoon will be enlisting in the military on July 21, 2025. He will enter the training center and fulfill his military duties as an active soldier in the Army," said FNC Entertainment, on Tuesday May 27, 2025.
Before officially carrying out his national duties, Rowoon plans to hold a fan meeting as a form of farewell to fans. The event titled Before Blooming is scheduled to take place on May 31, 2025. Precisely at Kwangwoon University, Seoul.
The fan meeting is expected to be an emotional moment for Rowoon and fans, considering that this is the last time they will meet in person before the actor begins his mandatory military service.
Rowoon himself is known as a figure who has a strong appeal, both as an idol and an actor. His first debut in the entertainment industry began in 2016 as a member of the boy group SF9. However, since 2023, Rowoon decided to leave the group and focus fully on acting.
