The 2025 Blue Dragon Series Awards were successfully held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Incheon Paradise City, South Korea. Famous celebrities, as well as numerous drama and variety show projects , took home awards in various categories.
Behind the excitement of the awards event, there was an 'incident' involving two famous celebrities, namely Lee Jun Young And Lee Jun Hyuk. This happened when the two MCs of the event, namely Girls' Generation's Yoona and Jun Hyun Moo, were announcing the names of the winners for the Upbeat Popular Star Award category.
The names mentioned were Hyeri, IU, Park Bo Gum, and Lee Jun Hyuk. Instead of Lee Jun Hyuk, Lee Jun Young had already taken the stage to receive his trophy. Seeing this, MC Jun Hyun Moo corrected himself and said that Lee Jun Hyuk was the winner. However, he also noted that Lee Jun Young is also a popular artist.
Lee Jun Young then presented the award directly to Lee Jun Hyuk. The two renowned actors even exchanged a warm hug in their unexpected interaction. This minor incident drew laughter from some in attendance, but the response from netizens on social media was different.
