D-NATION Entertainment agency which manages South Korean girl group 2NE1 announced that singer Park Bom will temporarily not be participating in group activities because she is experiencing health problems .
"We regret to inform you that Park Bom will not be able to participate in 2NE1's upcoming activities," the agency wrote in a statement quoted by Soompi on Thursday August 7, 2025.
"Because many fans have enthusiastically supported 2NE1's full group activities, it is with a heavy heart that we convey this news," continued D-NATION Entertainment.
D-NATION stated that this decision was taken based on medical recommendations that advised Park Bom to rest and prioritize her health recovery. "We reached this difficult decision after thorough discussion," wrote D-NATION Entertainment.
The agency stated that this decision was made after lengthy discussions. It is with a heavy heart that Park Bom will be temporarily unable to attend. They also asked for fans' support for Park Bom's health.
"We ask for your warm support and encouragement for Park Bom's recovery. We also hope that you will continue to support Sandara Park, CL, and Gong Minzy, who will do their best to fill the void left by her," D-NATION Entertainment said in a statement.
