On Monday August 11, 2025 a source in the South Korean entertainment industry said that the famous girl group BLACKPINK will release a mini album in November 2025. The source also said that BLACKPINK has completed the photo shoot for the album.

The group consisting of Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé is also reported to be about to finish recording their new songs, along with other production stages in the next two months. "BLACKPINK will release an album this year.

The original target was October 2025, but the schedule has changed. They plan to release it in November, and if possible, perform on stage," said the source, quoted from Soompi, on Tuesday August 12, 2025.

On the same day, BLACKPINK's agency, YG Entertainment, only briefly commented on the news. The agency only stated that they would announce the comeback through official promotions.

"We will announce it later through official promotions," said YG Entertainment. If BLACKPINK's November comeback is confirmed, it will be their first album since the release of BORN PINK in September 2022.

BLACKPINK recently released a digital single titled JUMP to coincide with their ninth anniversary as a group. Released in July of this year, JUMP immediately topped various global charts.

Not only that, BLACKPINK is currently on a world tour titled DEADLINE which will be held in 16 cities around the world, including Jakarta on November 1-2, 2025. This tour is the first after each BLACKPINK member was busy with solo schedules.
