South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK is reportedly releasing a new album this year. They recently released the song " Jump" last July 2025, coinciding with their DEADLINE concert tour in South Korea.
On Monday, August 11, 2025, BLACKPINK was reported to have completed the photo shoot for the album and would soon complete recording for two songs in two months. "BLACKPINK will be releasing an album this year.
It was originally scheduled for October 2025, but the schedule has changed," according to a leak from an anonymous source in the South Korean music industry. “They plan to release it in November and if possible, they will bring it to the stage,” they said.
On the same day, YG Entertainment gave a response indicating that the news was true. “We will announce it soon through official promotions,” the agency said. BLACKPINK last released their album BORN PINK in September 2022.
Then, they released the single Jump as part of their nine-year debut celebration. Currently, the four members of BLACKPINK are on their DEADLINE tour, which spans 16 cities across multiple continents.
They just wrapped up their North American leg and are heading to Europe this month. They also continued their tour to the Asian continent, including Indonesia in November 2025.
