Seol In Ah suffered an injury while filming the tvN variety show 'Iron Girls 2'. The production team confirmed that the actress felt discomfort in her ankle during filming and was immediately rushed to the hospital for an examination.
According to an official statement from the 'Iron Girls 2' team to Xports News on August 5, 2025, "Seol In Ah felt discomfort in her ankle while filming. She has undergone physiotherapy and has been advised to rest for recovery.
There are no bone problems, but as the discomfort persists, we will continue to monitor her condition while continuing treatment." Regarding the continuation of filming for 'Iron Girls 2,' the production team stated that Seol In Ah's participation will be determined based on her progress.
"We will adjust the filming schedule according to her recovery process," they said. 'Iron Girls 2' is a program that follows the struggles of actresses, including Uee, Park Ju Hyun, Seol In Ah, and new member Geum Sae Rok, in overcoming the challenges of becoming boxers.
The show follows the success of the first season, in which the contestants successfully completed a triathlon. The second season, which premiered last July, showcases the sweat-and-tears journey to the boxing championship, airing every Friday at 8:40 PM KST.
Seol In Ah, known as a “sports genius,” was in the spotlight before the premiere for the moment where she managed to hit coach Kim Dong Hyun, a former MMA fighter, in the face with a precise punch.
