South Korean model and actor, Lee Soo Hyuk has been in the spotlight after allegedly experiencing inappropriate treatment during a fan meeting in China. His agency, Saram Entertainment, has finally spoken out about the issue.

On Saturday August 30, 2025, Lee Soo Hyuk held a solo fan meeting titled 'Eternal Magic Hour' in Hangzhou, China, to meet his loyal fans.

However, a report from Taiwan's leading media outlet, EBC, on September 1, 2025 revealed allegations that the actor was forced to do a 12-hour autograph session, to the point of dehydration and even receiving threats from the organizers.

According to the report, the fan meeting, originally scheduled for 6.5 hours, was delayed due to overselling of tickets. As a result, Lee Soo Hyuk had to entertain thousands of fans for endless autograph sessions. Exhausted and showing signs of dehydration, he was still asked to sign 500 additional posters.

The organizers allegedly even issued a threatening statement, "Don't leave China until all of them are signed." In response, Saram Entertainment released an official statement on September 3, 2025.

"We deeply value the time shared between fans and artists, which is always very meaningful. We deeply regret the unexpected situation that occurred during this event. We will do our best to improve in the future," the agency said.

They also added, "We hope this incident will not tarnish the artists' dedication and fans' sincere love. We hope this ten-year reunion will be a cherished memory for all involved. We will work closely with the relevant parties to ensure future events run smoothly."

Saram Entertainment also expressed its gratitude to all parties involved, including the organizers, staff, and fans who have supported Lee Soo Hyuk. "We will continue to provide full support for Lee Soo Hyuk's future activities, while appreciating the love from fans," the statement concluded.
