The woman known as comedian Lee Jin Ho's girlfriend, referred to as A, was found dead in an apartment in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, on Sunday October 5, 2025 at around 08.30 KST.
Reporting from Sports Seoul on Friday October 10, 2025, this discovery was reported by the Bupyeong Police, Incheon, according to their official statement.
Previously, Lee Jin Ho was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving (DUI) on September 24, 2025. He is suspected of driving a vehicle for about 100 kilometers from Incheon to Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, while intoxicated.
The test results showed that Lee Jin Ho's blood alcohol level reached 0.12%, exceeding the limit that would result in the revocation of his driving license, so he was charged with violating the South Korean Road Traffic Act.
Controversy arose when several media outlets reported that Lee Jin Ho's girlfriend, A, had filed a report on the alleged drunk driving. The publication of A's identity as the reporter sparked controversy, and A reportedly suffered severe psychological distress after the news broke.
The police stated, "We are finding it difficult to reveal further details due to the feelings of the bereaved family." Meanwhile, Lee Jin Ho is currently undergoing a period of introspection regarding separate allegations, namely involvement in illegal gambling and debt issues.
