Actor Lee Sang Bo reportedly died on Friday, March 27, 2026. His body was first discovered by his family at his home in the Pyeongtaek area at 12:40 local time. According to the Korea Herald, the family reported Lee Sang Bo's body to the police after discovering his body. There were no signs of foul play.

For 10 years, he used the stage name Lee Bo Hyun to pursue his career before he decided to return to his real name in 2016. Some of his acting credits include the dramas Rugal, Private Lives, Miss Monte-Carlo, and Graceful Empire .
He also acted in the films Secretly Greatly and Mephisto. Lee Sang Bo was arrested for drug use in 2022, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding as the drugs he was using were antidepressants.
He expressed his frustration that the news led to him being labeled a "drug actor," even though he hadn't used them. Lee Sang Bo then returned to acting through the drama Graceful Empire which became his last drama.
