This figure broke two of the drama's personal records. First, the final episode of season 2 achieved the highest ratings of the entire season, which began airing on August 7, 2026. The drama kicked off its season on a high note at 6.1%.
Second, the finale of Flex X Cop 2 also surpassed the first season's ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the highest rating for season 1 of the SBS drama was achieved after episode 8 aired on February 24, 2024.
Flex X Cop 2 solidified this Korean drama's position as one of SBS's most popular IPs (intellectual properties), following the success of SBS's previous multi-season drama, Taxi Driver. Given the success of season 2, there's a strong possibility that Flex X Cop will continue into a third season.
However, the production team hasn't commented on this yet. Flex x Cop season 2 continues the story from the first season. The story centers on Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun), a police detective with extraordinary wealth.
