After last starring in the Netflix series Squid Game 3 (2025), Im Si Wan will soon greet fans through its newest thriller and romantic drama, namely Love in Disguise. Interestingly, the actor, who began his career as a member of the group ZE:A, will showcase two different sides of himself.
Adapted from the web novel Why Don't You Know It's a Girl?, Love in Disguise tells the story of an arrogant chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect, and a former special forces member who goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate the case.
This romantic thriller drama stars Im Si Wan as Yoon Yi Jun, a prime candidate for the heir to Taegang Group, who possesses exceptional business acumen and sharp judgment.
As the third-generation heir to the world's leading conglomerate, Yi Jun is known for his perfection, both in appearance and ability. In fact, since childhood, he was expected to prove his abilities and accomplishments as a potential heir, leading him to develop a habit of perfectionism.
At work, he doesn't tolerate even the slightest mistake, making his employees constantly tense. However, when he's at home, Yi Jun transforms into a loving cat owner and sheds his stiff and cautious demeanor.
In several contrasting portraits released, Yi Jun exudes an intimidating aura in his workplace through his stern expression and sharp gaze. His demeanor seems to reflect his perfectionist nature as an executive. In contrast, Yi Jun seemed more relaxed after returning home.
