OPPO has started rolling out the Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 stable build for the F15 model in India. The firmware comes as an incremental update with improvements related to system stability, performance, as well as the charging speed. It also optimizes the Always-On Display feature and enhances the overall camera experience.
The OPPO F15 bears a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The handset features a waterdrop notch display with a prominent bottom bezel and an integrated fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it offers a quad camera unit.
The OPPO F15 packs a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.3) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies, it sports a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera.
The OPPO F15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it packs a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port. It is offered in Lightening Black, Blazing Blue, and Unicorn White color options.
The ColorOS 11.1 firmware for the OPPO F15 in India carries version number CPH2001_11_F.10 and has a download size of around 920MB. It is being rolled out in a staged manner. To manually check for the update, you can go to Settings >Software Update.
