The Coolpad Cool 5 smartphone has made its debut in India. The handset is the successor of Cool 3 Plus, which was introduced earlier this year. The handset comes with a beefy battery cell, dual rear cameras, an octa-core chipset, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and dewdrop-style display notch.
The Coolpad Cool 5 packs a 6.2-inch display with HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, dewdrop notch, and 2.5D curved glass. The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset, which is clocked at up to 2GHz and paired with 4GB RAM.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Coolpad Cool 5 features a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor with LED flash on the front and 16-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling.
The Coolpad Cool 5 has 64GB storage onboard, which can be further expandable up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie out of the box and a 4,000mAh battery that is rated to last up to 18 hours on a single charge.
In terms of connectivity, the Coolpad Cool 5 rocks Type-C port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more. The handset comes in two colour variants: Gradient Blue and Midnight Blue, with gradient finish. The smartphone has been priced in India at Rs 7,999. The Cool 5 is available for sale on Amazon.in.
