Realme has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone called the Realme C25s in the Indian market which is basically a slightly bumped up variant of the Realme C25 that was launched back in March 2021.
The Realme C25s builds around a 6.5” LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution alongside a 60Hz screen refresh rate. On top of that, it also gets an 8 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s dewdrop-notch upfront.
Unlike the Realme C25 that’s powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, the new Realme C25s settles for a more powerful Helio G85 chip instead. The smartphone boots on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 operating system.
Around the back of the Realme C25s, there’s a triple camera setup that includes a 13 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors for macro and depth information. Other than that, you’ll also find a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
In the memory department, you also get 4GB worth of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. The phone draws power from a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack
In terms of pricing and availability, the Realme C25s is priced at INR9,999 (US$137) and INR10,999 (US$151) for it’s 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants. The smartphone comes in Watery Grey and Watery Blue colour options.
