Vivo Y53s 5G has been launched in China, with Snapdragon 480 SoC, 8GB RAM, and a 64MP dual rear camera setup. The company added a new device to its Y series portfolio. It is the successor of the Vivo Y52s which was debuted back in December last year.
Vivo Y53s 5G features a 6.58-inches IPS LCD FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate and waterdrop notch design. In terms of OS software, the smartphone runs on Origin OS with Android 11 OS out of the box.
Under the hood, The smartphone is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM + 256GB storage. There is also an additional 3GB RAM virtual RAM feature.
In terms of camera, It is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that houses a 64-Megapixel (primary) camera with an aperture of f/1.7 + 2-Megapixel (macro) sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the handset comes with an 8-Megapixel Selfie snapper.
The Vivo Y53s 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging technology. For connectivity, the smartphone has a dual sim slot, 5G, 4G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The sensor onboard includes an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. In terms of dimensions, The smartphone measures 163.95 x 75.3 x 8.5 thickness and weighs 189g.
As for the pricing, Vivo Y53s 5G comes in two RAM & Storage options, The 8GB + 128GB storage variant is priced at 1799 Yuan (around Rs.20,494). On the other hand, the 8GB + 256GB storage variant costs 1999 Yuan (around Rs.22,776).
In terms of availability, Those who pre-order the device will able to purchase the 8GB + 128GB storage variant at 1699 Yuan (around Rs.19,364). The smartphone is currently up for pre-order on JD.com and the company’s official website in China.
