Samsung Galaxy A12 was revealed in India as the new budget device from the South Korean Tech Giant. The smartphone comes with an HD+ display, 48MP quad rear camera, big battery, Samsung Exynos octa-core chipset, and more. A week ago the Samsung announced the Galaxy A12 nacho in Russia with similar specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A12 features a 6.5 inches PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with Samsung Exynos 850 octa-core chipset coupled with Arm Mali G52 MP1 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be extended up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy A12 boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 11 OS with One UI skin on top.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 15W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
As for the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy A12 comes in two configurations including 4GB + 64GB for Rs. 13,999 and 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 16,500. The company offered the phone in pink, black and white. The smartphone can be purchased from Samsung India official website.
