Oppo A16s smartphone silently revealed in Netherland as the new budget smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. The handset comes with a triple rear camera, big battery, waterdrop notch display, MediaTek octa-core chipset, and much more. Although, the phone is currently limited to Netherland and the company hasn’t revealed its availability in other countries.
Oppo A16s features a 6.52 inches IPS LCD display with HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 60Haz refresh rate. under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor coupled with Power VR GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and there is also a microSD card slot for up to 256GB of expandable storage.
In terms of camera, the Oppo A16s boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 out of the box.
The Oppo A16s comes equipped with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging. For connectivity, the phone includes 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board, the phone sports a Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, proximity, gravity sensor, step counting function, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 163.8 x 75.6 x 8.4 mm and weighs 190 grams.
As for the pricing and availability, the Oppo A16s comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB priced at 149 euros and the company offered the smartphone in two color options namely Pearl Blue and Crystal Black. The smartphone is available for purchase via an e-commerce website named Lekkerweglekkerthuis in Netherland.
