Realme has expanded its GT smartphone series with the launch of the Realme GT Neo 2. The handset arrives as a successor to the Realme GT Neo. The Realme GT Neo 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor and it packs up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It features a 64MP triple-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
The Realme GT Neo 2 sports a 6.22-inch E4 AMOLED display that has Full HD+ resolution (2,400 × 1,080 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,300 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It has 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage.
The Realme GT Neo 2 has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, the Realme GT Neo 2 sports a triple-camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The device’s heat dissipation is handled by a diamond ice core cooling system which covers 7932mm² surface area with aerospace-grade cooling gel. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Realme GT Neo 2 runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. The handset is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, 5G (SA/NSA), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The handset also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
The Realme GT Neo 2 price is CNY 2,499 for the variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model, while the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 2,699. It is available in Black Mint, Pale Blue, and Shadow Black colour variants. There’s also a top-end model which ships with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 2,999. It is available for pre-order in China and it will go on sale starting from September 27th.
