Motorola’s new G-series smartphone – called the Moto G51 5G will go on sale in India today. The device was introduced in India a few days back, while in the global markets the handset was unveiled last month. The device comes with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display, an octa-core Snapdragon processor and it also has support for 2 5G bands. The device features a 50MP triple-camera setup, 13MP selfie camera and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Motorola Moto G51 5G has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels). The display panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and it has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ processor with the Adreno 619 GPU. The device has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS storage. The front of the device includes a punch-hole-shaped cutout for the selfie camera.

On the rear, the Motorola Moto G51 5G has a 50MP triple-camera setup. It has a 50MP primary camera with an F1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For the selfies, you can use the Moto G51 5G’s 13MP front-facing camera with an F2.2 aperture. The smartphone runs Android 11 OS out of the box, and will get the Android 12 update.

The Motorola Moto G51 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. The other features of the smartphone include a USB 2.0 Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G, 4G, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, and an IP52 rating for dust and water splash resistance.

The Motorola Moto G51 5G price in India is ₹14,999, and it comes in two colour options: Bright Silver and Indigo Blue. The Moto G51 5G will go on sale in India via Flipkart.
