Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 in South Korea tech giant as the latest 5G capable smartphone. It comes with an enormous 5,000mAh battery, a triple camera setup at the back, and a 6.6-inch Infinity-V display. The device has a waterdrop style screen for an 8MP selfie camera and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 bears a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Infinity-V display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 SoC along with Mali G57 GPU. The smartphone packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a memory expansion feature via a MicroSD card (up to 1TB).
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 is listed on SK Telecom with the model number SM-E426S. It is almost similar model (SM-E426B) number that has to be attached to the upcoming Samsung’s Galaxy F42 5G. It is expected that Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 may launch in India as the Galaxy F42 5G. The smartphone runs on Android 11 Operating System, and also a dual-SIM slot.
The Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 offers a triple rear camera setup. The rear camera incorporates a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP secondary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front side, it provides an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The handset intergrates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button.
For battery, the Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 has offered a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Talking about dimensions, the smartphone measures 76.4 x 167.2 x 9mm and weighs around 203 grams. Other notable features on the handset are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and GPS.
As for the official pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Wide 5 comes in a single 6GB RAM Model that has been priced at KRW 4,49,900 (approximately Rs. 28,200). The smartphone is up for sale on SK Telecom site. The handset can be purchased in three different colors, i.e. Black, White, and Blue.
