Vivo S12 smartphone has been launched in China. The new Vivo handset features a 6.44-inch touchscreen display, a 108-megapixel primary sensor and dual selfie cameras. The  device comes with MediaTek Dimesity 1100 SoC, a Android 11 OS operating system and a  4200 mAh battery with supports proprietary fast charging.

The Vivo S12 comes with a 6.44-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels at a pixel density of 408 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The handset packed with a 4200mAh battery supports proprietary fast charging.

The Vivo S12 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.88 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2,2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, the handset packs a dual camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 44-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.28 aperture. The front camera also features autofocus.

The Vivo S12 runs OriginOS Ocean is based on Android 11 OS operating system and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 157.20 x 72.42 x 7.39mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 179.00 grams. 

Connectivity options on the Vivo S12 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks). Sensors on the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The device supports face unlock. It was launched in Black, Blue, and Gold colours.
