Redmi 9 Power has come up in the Indian market with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. The handset also comes with a 4GB RAM option which was launched in December 2020. The key highlights specs of smartphone are 6.53-inch full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 662 chipset, a larger 6,000mAh battery, and a quad-rear camera setup.
The Redmi 9 Power features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It carries a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The dual-SIM slot phone has 4G connectivity. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset along with Adreno 610 GPU. The storage capacity is expandable via a microSD card up to 512GB. However, if we talk about its design, it comes with a beautiful back penal with a quad-rear camera module.
As far as the cameras are concerned, Redmi 9 Power comes with quad camera sensors for the rear penal that houses a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.
Redmi 9 Power is offering an Android-based MIUI 12 OS, not too impressive. Recently, Android 12 developers preview has been released by Google, and the company is still getting a two-generation old OS. In terms of connectivity, it features 4G, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Where almost all the companies are removing the 3.5mm headphone jack from their flagship smartphones, it has added to the Redmi 9 Power.
The new version of Redmi 9 Power 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage has been priced at Rs. 12,999. The smartphone is available in Blazing Blue, Electric Green, Fiery Red, and Mighty Black color variants. You can purchase this device starting today (22nd February) through Mi.com, Mi Homes, Mi Studios, and Amazon India. Redmi 9 Power will also be sold via other retail stores across the country in the coming days.
