Redmi 9 Power has finally been launched in Indian market and it is priced at Rs 10,999. The key highlights of the latest budget smartphone from Xiaomi are a massive battery, a big 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 48MP primary quad rear camera, and stereo speakers. This is the first Xiaomi Redmi smartphone to pack a 6,000mAh battery. It will go on sale on December 22 via Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
The newly launched Redmi 9 Power comes with a 6.53-inch display, which supports full-HD+ resolution. The budget smartphone boasts of an Aura Power design and a waterdrop-style notched display. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. under the hood, The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which we used to see on old Xiaomi devices.
The Redmi 9 Power is paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. The Chinese tech company has finally launched a smartphone with a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Xiaomi bundles 22.5W fast charger in the box. The new Redmi phone ships with MIUI 12 out-of-the-box. The device has stereo speakers as well as a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is also splash proof.

The other cameras in the setup are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro and depth sensors. On the front, Xiaomi has added an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has a headphone jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM slot and GPS support.
As for the pricing and availability, the Redmi 9 Power price in India starts from Rs 10,999. For the mentioned price, Xiaomi will be selling the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration will cost you Rs 11,999. The smartphone will also be available for purchase via Amazon India’s website. The handset will be sold in four colour options, including Mighty Black, Fiery Red, Electric Green, and Blazing Blue.
