Vivo Y21A was revealed in India as the entry-level smartphone from the Chinese Tech Giant. the company hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability yet for the device. The new handset comes with an entry-level MediaTek chipset, dual rear camera, waterdrop notch display, big battery, fast charging, 4G, 3.5mm audio jack, elegant design, and more.

Vivo Y21A features a 6.51 inches LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 89% screen-to-body ratio, and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM with 1GB virtual RAM support and 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. The device is running on Android 11 with Funtouch OS 11 skin on top.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Y21A boasts a triple rear camera that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. 

For connectivity, the Vivo Y21A includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, GNSS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard, the phone sports an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, ambient light sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of Dimensions, it measures 164.26mm × 76.08mm × 8.00mm and weighs 182 grams

A Vivo Y21A listing is live on the company's India website, revealing the specifications of the smartphone. Vivo Y21A will be available in Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue colour options. At the time of publishing, the company hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability yet and Vivo may announce it very soon as it is listed on Vivo’s India official website.
