OPPO has launched the Find X5 Lite model in the global markets. The mid-range smartphone carries a price-tag of €480 (roughly Rs. 40,000) but its availability details are yet to be revealed by the company. The device comes with a high refresh rate AMOLED screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 900, 5G connectivity, triple rear cameras, and 65W fast-charging technology.
The OPPO Find X5 Lite has debuted alongside the flagship Find X5 and Find X5 Pro models. It aims to attract buyers with a new design, mid-tier hardware, and a range of photography features. It also flaunts a special finish on the rear side. The Startrails Blue variant resembles the "magic of shooting stars" while the Starry Black variant mimics the "star-studded cosmos"
The OPPO Find X5 Lite sports a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone has a punch-hole cut-out on the top left corner and a thick bottom bezel. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a triple camera system on the back. The handset is 7.8mm thick and weighs 173 grams.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find X5 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The SoC comes paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone draws juice from a 4,500mAh battery which supports 65W fast-charging via the Type-C port. It also comes with a headphone jack.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the OPPO Find X5 Lite sports a triple rear camera unit that comprises a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro snapper with an LED flash. At the front, it packs a 32MP selfie camera. The handset runs on ColorOS 12 which is based on Android 11 out of the box.
For official pricing and availability, the OPPO Find X5 Lite is a watered down version of the Find X5 and that reflects in its price-tag of €480 (roughly Rs. 40,000). The smartphone is available in three color options: Black, Blue, Gold. The availability details of the handset are yet to be announced.
