Oppo has officially announced the Find X5 Pro, its flagship smartphone for 2022. It’s a fairly iterative follow-up to last year’s Find X3 Pro, but that was a great device, and after spending more than a week with a not-yet-final version of its successor I’m expecting the same to hold true. The handset comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a high refresh rate AMOLED screen, 5G connectivity, triple rear cameras, and Super VOOC fast charging.

The rear camera setup has autofocus. It is rumoured to sport a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery. The device supports wireless charging, as well as Super VOOC fast charging.

The smartphone is tipped to be a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that will accept Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset is said to measure 163.70 x 73.90 x 8.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 218.00 grams. The device features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
