Chinese tech company, Realme is gearing up to launch its GT 2 Pro handset in India soon. The company's VP, Madhav Sheth, has teased the device on Twitter, claiming it will arrive soon with "the best flat display among all Android phones." The Realme GT 2 Pro was announced in China last month alongside the vanilla GT model.

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the company's first premium flagship device with an LTPO AMOLED display and Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It also boasts features like 'HyperSmart' antenna switching technology, 'Paper Tech Master Design,' and a 150-degree ultra-wide camera. The smartphone will go against Samsung's S22 and S22+ models as well as other Android flagships in India.

The Realme GT 2 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1400-nits of peak brightness. The handset has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front. The smartphone features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it has a triple camera setup.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme GT 2 Pro flaunts a triple rear camera module comprising a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP ultra-micro lens. A 32MP selfie shooter is available up front. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro draws power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. At the heart, it boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone offers support for Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.

In India, the official pricing and availability details of the Realme GT 2 Pro will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of launch, which is expected to happen soon. For reference, in China, the handset starts at CNY 3,899 (roughly Rs. 46,000). The smartphone comes in Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue color options.
