Chinese tech company, Realme is reportedly working on a new GT series smartphone, called the GT Neo 3. In the latest development, a render and key specifications of the device have surfaced online courtesy of a tipster on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. There is no official word regarding the smartphone's presence, but if the leaked render is to be believed, it will have a trendy design.

The Realme GT Neo 3 will be the successor to the GT Neo2 that was launched last year 2021. We first caught wind of the new model earlier this year via a tipster. The smartphone is expected to arrive in March or April this year. With superior hardware and a new design pattern, it could prove to be a trendsetter in the upper mid-range segment.

The Realme GT Neo 3 will bear a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone is likely to have a punch-hole design with slim bezels and shoulder trigger buttons. On the rear, it will sport a gray-colored panel with a thick dual-tone band below the rectangular camera bump.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT Neo 3 is said to have a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and an unspecified 2MP lens. Up front, it may sport a 16MP selfie snapper. The handset will house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo 3 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the front sotfware, it will boot Android 12-based Realme UI OS out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone should offer support for 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing and availability of the Realme GT Neo 3 will be announced by Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. However, we expect it to be priced around Rs. 40,000. The smartphone will be available in three colour options namely Dark Day, Aurora Colour, and Peak Blue.
