Realme is gearing up to launch a new Narzo series smartphone, called the Narzo 50, in India. And, in the latest development, the company has announced that the handset will make its debut on February 24. The mobile maker has also confirmed the handset will be backed by a MediaTek Helio G96 chip. It will be available for purchase via Amazon India.

Counterpoint's Q4 2021 data revealed Realme is the second-largest smartphone brand in India. A look at its February activities shows that Realme is not going down anytime soon. After introducing the 9 Pro series earlier this week, it is set to launch the Narzo 50—a budget-range device with premium features. So, it is safe to assume Realme is now gunning for that first position.

The Realme Narzo 50 may bear a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with either a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to feature a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a triple camera unit.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme Narzo 50 will be equipped with a triple rear camera module, including a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it will sport a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 50 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. On the front software, it may boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 OS out of the box. For connectivity options, the smartphone should offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing and availability of the Realme Narzo 50 will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch on February 24. However, we expect it to start at around Rs. 16,000. The smartphone will be offered in Gray, Green, Speed Black, and Speed Blue color options.
