Realme will launch its budget-friendly Narzo 50 handset in India "as early as the first half of March 2022," 91mobiles has claimed. The publication has also revealed that the smartphone will be offered in two color options of Green and Gray. the device is speculated to feature a Full-HD+ display, a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor, and a 4,880mAh battery.
The Realme Narzo 50 will arrive as the latest addition to the Narzo 50 series that already comprises the Narzo 50A and 50i models in India. It will attract customers with a sharp display, decent performance, and good battery. The smartphone will rival other lower mid-range smartphones from brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Infinix, OPPO, and Vivo.
The Realme Narzo 50 is rumored to bear a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will likely bear a left-aligned punch-hole display with rounded corners, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication. At the back, it may be fitted with a triple camera unit.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Realme Narzo 50 is likely to sport a triple rear camera module comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth lens. For selfies and video calls, it may have a 16MP front-facing snapper. The smartphone is expected to pack a 4,880mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
Under the hood, the Realme Narzo 50 will reportedly draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it is expected to boot Android 11-based Realme UI OS out of the box. For connectivity, the device should offer support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the Realme Narzo 50 in India will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of the launch, which is said to happen in the first half of March 2022. However, based on its specifications, it may cost around Rs. 15,000. The smartphone will be offered in two color options of Gray and Green.
