POCO is all set to launch the M4 Pro 5G smartphone in India on February 15. In the latest development, the RAM, storage, and color options of the device have surfaced online courtesy of MySmartPrice. As per the report, it will be available in three RAM, two storage, and three color options in the country. The handset made its global debut last November 2021.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G will arrive in India as the successor to the M3 Pro. Ever since its global launch last November 2021, Indian customers have been awaiting this feature-packed mid-range smartphone. The addition of an India-specific 8GB RAM variant will only add to the charm of the device. It will entice those looking for premium features at a competitive price.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G offers a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and DCI-P3 color gamut. The smartphone sports a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It has a full-width horizontal camera unit on the rear.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the POCO M4 Pro 5G flaunts a dual rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) main shooter and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the device has a 16MP (f/2.45) selfie snapper. The smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the POCO M4 Pro 5G is fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. The India-specific variant will feature up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 OS out of the box. It also has an X-axis linear motor and supports 5G connectivity.

The official pricing and availability details of the POCO M4 Pro 5G will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch on February 15. However, going by the specifications and features, we expect the phone to start at around Rs. 16,000. The handset will be available in three color options in India.
