Vivo has launched a new Y15s (2021) model in Indian market. The smartphone carries a price-tag of Rs. 10,990 for the sole 3GB/32GB variant and is currently available for purchase via Vivo's e-store and other authorized outlets. The device was first announced in Singapore in November 2021. The handset offers an HD+ IPS display, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, dual rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Vivo is aggressively expanding its portfolio of budget and mid-range devices in India. In the last few weeks, the company has launched over five models in the Y series, including the Y55 5G, Y21T, Y33T, and Y75 5G. The Vivo Y15s (2021) is the latest budget offering from the Chinese tech giant and it will take on the Redmi 10 Prime and Moto E40.

The Vivo Y15s (2021) bears a 6.51-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone flaunts a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. The rear panel is fitted with a dual camera module.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y15s (2021) sports a dual rear camera module comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary shooter and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens. For selfies and video calling, it has an 8MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera. The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAh (TYP) battery that ensures plenty of life every day.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y15s (2021) is fueled by a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11 (Go edition) with Funtouch OS 11.1 skin on top. For connectivity options, it offers support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS, and a micro-USB port.
