Infinix has launched its Smart 6 Plus model in Nigeria. It is a budget smartphone with a design similar to the Smart 6 but with a slightly better processor. It features a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, an LCD display, and dual rear cameras. The handset is priced at NGN 58,400 (roughly Rs. 10,700) and is currently available for purchase in the African nation.

The Infinix Smart 6 Plus is the latest addition to the company's Smart 6 series of affordable smartphones. It joins the Smart 6 and Smart 6 4G models. The smartphone aims to attract first-time smartphone buyers with features such as long battery life, 4G LTE support, a large screen, and expandable storage. It may arrive in India and other markets in the coming weeks.

The Infinix Smart 6 Plus features a 6.6-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, around 394ppi of pixel density, and up to 500-nits of peak brightness. The handset bears a waterdrop notch design, prominent bezels, and a plastic body. On the rear, it has a fingerprint sensor and a dual camera setup.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus has a dual camera arrangement on the rear that comprises an 8MP primary lens and a QVGA secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is a 5MP shooter on the front. The handset draws power from a 5,000mAh battery.

Under the hood, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC and comes in a single 2GB/32GB variant with expandable storage of up to 128GB via microSD. It boots Android 11 (Go edition) topped with the latest XOS 7.6. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, dual-SIMs, Wi-Fi, and a headphone jack.

For official pricing and availability, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus can be purchased via e-commerce platform website Xpark as well as other offline stores in Nigeria for NGN 58,400 (roughly Rs. 10,700). The smartphone is available in Light Sea Green, Ocean Blue, Polar Black, and Purple color options.
