Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO had launched the Z6 5G in India on March 16. The smartphone has now gone on sale for the first time. Buyers can get a discount of up to Rs. 2,000 with HDFC Bank cards and on EMI transactions. There are also exchange offers. It is available via Amazon and the official website. The phone starts at Rs. 15,499 for the 4GB/128GB model.
The iQOO Z6 5G's specifications list looks like that of a mid-range smartphone. It even looks like one. However, interestingly, it is priced like a budget offering. That is exactly why Indians have been eagerly waiting for this device. Although there are many affordable handsets available in the market, we don't come across one as loaded as the Z6 5G often.
The iQOO Z6 5G sports a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and a 90.61% screen-to-body ratio. The handset bears a waterdrop notch design, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has a rectangular camera unit on the rear.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z6 5G draws power from a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. At the heart, it runs on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box. The handset also has a 5-layer liquid cooling system and Ultra Game Mode for an enhanced gaming experience.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQOO Z6 5G is equipped with a triple rear camera module, comprising a 50MP primary shooter, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP bokeh sensor. On the front, it sports a 16MP selfie snapper. The handset is packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
For pricing and availability, the iQOO Z6 5G carries a price-tag of Rs. 15,499 for the 4GB/128GB variant and costs Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 17,999. The smartphone is offered in Dynamo Black and Chromatic Blue colors. It is available for purchase via Amazon and the official iQOO website starting today.
