Lava X2 was announced in India as the new entry-level handset from Indian Tech Company. The smartphone comes with a larger display, MediaTek’s octa-core chipset, fingerprint sensor, dual rear camera, and battery under the budget. Recently, the company added a Probuds N3 neckband as the successor to the Probuds N2.
Lava X2 flaunts 6.5 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features a waterdrop notch design with a prominent bottom bezel, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for biometric authentication. On the rear, it sports a vertical camera unit.
Under the hood, the Lava X2 smartphone is powered with a MediaTek unknown octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for more storage. On the front software, it comes running on the Android 11 Go OS edition out of the box.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lava X2 smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, comprising an 8MP main shooter and an AI sensor. Up front, it sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch for selfies and video calls. The handset is equipped with a 5000mah battery.
For connectivity options, the Lava X2 smartphone offers support for Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G, and a Type-C port . The handset comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 16.5 x 7.6 x 0.9 cm and weighs 192 grams.
For official pricing and availability, the Lava X2 comes in a solo configuration of 2GB + 32GB priced at Rs. 6,599. The smartphone is offered in two color variants namely blue and cyan. The handset will go for sale from March 12 2022 and is currently available for pre-booking via e-commerce platform website Amazon India.
