Samsung Galaxy A23 4G smartphone was announced along with Samsung Galaxy A13 4G as the successor of the Galaxy A22 which was revealed last year in June sporting an 48MP quad rear camera, AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, big battery, and more. While the new Galaxy A23 4G comes with a TFT display, faster charging, 50MP quad rear camera, and more.
Samsung Galaxy A23 4G sports a 6.6 inches TFT LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and Full-HD+ resolution. The smartphone comes running on Android 12 OS out of the box with One UI 4.1 skin on top. The device has a polycarbonate build and has a similar design to Galaxy A13 4G. The handset is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A23 4G boasts a similar quad rear camera module to Galaxy A13 including 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie sensor under the waterdrop notch with an f/2.2 aperture.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A23 4G is powered with an unknown octa-core chipset with a 2.4GHz max frequency which is rumored to be a Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is paired with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 165.4 x 76.9 x 8.44mm and weighs 195 grams.
As of now, Samsung hasn’t announced the official pricing and availability of the Galaxy A23 4G . However, the smartphone expected to launch in the European and Indian markets in the next few weeks. The company offered the handset in four color options namely blue, peach, white and black.
