Lava has launched a new entry-level smartphone, called Lava X2 which comes with Android 11 (Go Edition) platform. It is a budget device, nevertheless, it carries all useful features such as an octa-core MediaTek chipset, a large 5,000mAh battery, and a dual rear camera setup. The Indian mobile manufacturer company also offers a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Lava X2 has a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front penal comes with a waterdrop style notch. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an unidentified octa-core MediaTek Helio processor, though RAM is mentioned. It comes with 2GB of RAM. On the front software, the dual-SIM supporting device runs on Android 11 (Go Edition) OS out of the box.
For selfies and video calls, the Lava X2 provides a 5MP front sensor. It gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. For power, the handset comes with a 5,000mAh battery. It delivers up to 38 hours of talk time, and up to 480 hours on standby. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 165 x 76 x 9mm and weighs around 192 grams.
For storage, the Lava X2 offers 32GB of onboard storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. For connectivity options on the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. On the camera front, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup with an 8MP Dual AI sensor and LED flash.
For pricing and availability, the Lava X2 has been priced in India at Rs. 6,999 for the single 2GB RAM with 32GB storage option. It is available for pre-bookings on Amazon at a discounted price of Rs. 6,599 till March 11. You can purchase the handset in two color options, Blue and Cyan.
