Apple is expected to launch the iPhone SE 3 at its "Peek Performance" event on March 8. In the latest development, reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed details about the chipset and design of the upcoming handset. He has also tipped that the smartphone will be available in three color options, including Red, and offered in three storage variants.
The iPhone SE 3 will be Apple's first affordable 5G-ready device. Even though it may not receive any design upgrades from the previous version, the company is expected to inject some serious power into the handset with the new A15 Bionic chip. Apple has high hopes for the smartphone, with an estimated 25-30 million units of the handset set to be shipped this year.
The Apple iPhone SE 3 may pack a 4.7-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display. The smartphone is tipped to feature the same design as the 2020 variant. It will sport a metal-glass body, thick bezels at the top and bottom, IP67-rated build quality, and a Touch ID sensor on the front. On the front software, it will run on iOS 15 out of the box.
As far as the cameras are concerned, The Apple iPhone SE 3 is likely to sport a 12MP rear camera with LED flash. On the front, it may have a 12MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The handset house a 2,821mAh battery with fast-charging support.
Under the hood, the Apple iPhone SE 3 will be powered by an A15 Bionic chipset, coupled with up to 256GB of internal storage. Details about the smartphone's RAM options are scarce as of yet. The handset will offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5G, and a Lightning port for charging.
Apple will disclose the official pricing and availability details of the iPhone SE 3 at the time of its launch. However, we expect the smartphone to start at around $300 (around Rs. 23,000). The handset is expected to be available in Black, Red, and White colors.
