Motorola has debuted the Moto G22 in Europe. The latest offering from Moto features a 6.5-inch Max Vision display, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. The handset arrives as a budget offering with an interesting set of features, some of which were first revealed when its specifications and renders were leaked recently.

The Motorola  Moto G22 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The screen refreshes at 90Hz and there’s a punch-hole cutout housing the selfie camera on the front with narrow bezels on three sides and a sizable chin. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 6GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded with the onboard microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, Motorola Moto G22 has packed in a quad rear camera module on the rear. There’s a primary 50MP shooter with quad-pixel technology that shoots 12.5MP pixel-binned images by default. Tagging along is an 8MP ultra-wide angled lens paired with dual 2MP lenses for depth and macro. On the front, there is a 16MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the front software, the Motorola Moto G22 runs Android 12 OS out of the box. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. Connectivity is provided by a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It comes with a single speaker. Additionally, In terms of dimensions, the smartphone weighs 185 grams. 

For official pricing and availability, the Motorola Moto G22 is available in a single RAM and storage configuration—4GB + 64GB and is priced at €169.99 (about ₹14,300). There are three colour variants to choose from, namely Iceberg Blue, Cosmic Black, and Pearl White. Currently, there’s no confirmation from the brand on the smartphone’s availability in India.
