Motorola Moto G22 was announced in Europe as the new budget device from the Lenovo-owned tech company. The handset comes with a triple rear camera, MediaTek’s octa-core chipset, fast refresh rate display, big battery, and more. It seems that Motorola is focusing on the budget segment a lot as few months ago the company also unveiled Moto G41, Moto G31, Moto G71 and Moto G51.
Motorola Moto G22 bears a 6.5 inches with 90Hz fast refresh rate, HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and 268ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the smartphone comes equipped with MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with microSD card slot support.
The Motorola Moto G22 features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 118-degree Field of View, a 2-megapixel portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone boasts a 16-megapixel front facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center with f/2.45 aperture.
On the front software, the Motorola Moto G22 comes running on Android 12 skin on top. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 15W fast charging. For connectivity options, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, uSB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm and weighs 185 grams.
For official pricing and availability, the Motorola Moto G22 comes in a solo configuration of 4GB + 64GB priced at 169.99 euro ( Rs. 14,270 approx ) and the company offered the smartphone in three color options namely Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue. The handset is available for purchase in certain European countries only.
