OPPO K10's specifications tipped ahead of launch

Chinese tech company, OPPO is all set to launch a new budget-friendly K-series smartphone, called the K10, in India on March 23. In the latest development, full specifications of the device have surfaced online, courtesy of 91mobiles in collaboration with tipster Yogesh Brar. A microsite dedicated to the phone has also gone live on the company's official website. It will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart.

India's affordable smartphone segment has been on the up in the last few months. The boom can be attributed to companies going above and beyond to release budget-friendly, feature-packed 5G smartphones. With the competition heating up, every company wants to strengthen its position. And, that is exactly what OPPO is trying to achieve with the K10, a premium-looking phone made for the masses.

The OPPO K10 will bear a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone will feature a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a noticeable bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the rear, it has an eye-catching "Glow Design" and a full-width camera unit.

Under the hood, the OPPO K10 will be fueled by a Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it will boot Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. For connectivity, the smartphone will offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, a 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and a Type-C port.

As far as the cameras are concerned, The OPPO K10 will be equipped with a triple rear camera unit, including a 50MP main shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, the handset will sport a 16MP selfie snapper. The smartphone will house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.

For official pricing and availability, the OPPO K10 is tipped to be priced under Rs. 20,000 for the sole 6GB/128GB model in India. The smartphone will be offered in Black and Blue color options. Moreover, the handset will be up for grabs exclusively via e-commerce platform website Flipkart India.
