South Korean tech giant, Samsung has launched its budget-friendly laptop, namely the Galaxy Book Go, in India. It is priced at Rs. 38,990 for the 4GB/128GB variant. The device is available for pre-booking and will go on sale from April 6 via e-commerce platform Flipkart. Buyers can avail an instant cashback of Rs. 3,000 on HDFC Bank cards and an exchange offer of up to Rs. 18,100.

After a long hiatus, Samsung is back in India with laptops. In one go, the South Korean tech company has launched a range of devices of which the Galaxy Book Go is the cheapest. With up to 18 hours of video playback and a compact design, it is a perfect device for professionals who are always on the go and for students looking for a cost-effective laptop.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go packs a 14-inch Full-HD (1980x1080 pixels) TFT LED display with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The laptop sports a compact and slim design, a conventional rectangular screen with thick top and bottom bezels, a 180-degree hinge, a touchpad, and a silver finish. It also has US military standard MIL-STD-810G certification.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Book Go draws power from a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and Adreno GPU. At the heart, it runs on Windows 11 OS Home Edition and packs a 42.3Wh battery with 25W fast-charging support. Dimensions-wise, it measures 14.9mm in thickness and weighs 1.38kg.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go is equipped with a range of I/O ports, including two Type-C ports, a USB 2.0 port, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and a microSD card reader. For wireless connectivity, it offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. The laptop offers a 720p HD web camera, dual 1.5w stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, and an integrated second screen feature.

For pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Book Go is priced at Rs. 38,990 for the sole 4GB/128GB model. The laptop should be available in a single silver color option. It is currently available for pre-orders. The laptop will be up for grabs from April 6 via e-commerce platform website Flipkart.
