Chinese tech company Poco has unveiled its new Poco X-series smartphone in India – called Poco X4 Pro 5G. It is the successor of the Poco X3 Pro that was launched last year 2021. The main key highlight features of the Poco X4 Pro 5G are a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 64MP triple rear camera setup and a 5,000mAh battery.
Speaking about specifications and features, the Poco X4 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has 1080 x 2400 pixels and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. For the processor, it brings a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC along with Adreno 619 GPU.
In terms of camera, the Poco X4 Pro 5G comes with a triple camera setup on the rear that houses a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 main sensor with an f/1.8 lens. However, the global Poco X4 Pro 5G variant has a 108MP primary sensor. There are two other cameras, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP sensor with an f/2.45 lens.
On the front software, It runs on Android 11 OS based MIUI 13 out of the box. It is paired with up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and you can also expand its storage capacity via a microSD card (up to 1TB). Connectivity features on the handset are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and, a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.19 x 76.1 x 8.12mm and weighs around 205 grams.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The smartphone gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port. The company has provided dual stereo speakers and two microphones for noise cancellation. Sensors are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It is available in Laser Black, Laser Blue, and Poco Yellow.
The Poco X4 Pro 5G has been priced in India at Rs. 18,999 for the base 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage variant. The smartphone also comes in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variants, prices are Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999. The smartphone will go on sale through Flipkart from April 5.
