Realme had launched the Realme GT 2 series in China two months ago. The Realme GT 2 series made it to Europe launched a few days ago, but Indian consumers are yet to get their hands on the Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Pro. However, that might change very soon as Realme India has announced that the Realme GT2 Pro will launch in India on April 7.

The Realme GT 2 Pro bears a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution (3,216 × 1,440 pixels) and 1,400 nits of peak brightness. It is an E4 LTPO 2.0 display panel that supports a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The display panel is protected using Corning Gorilla Victus.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. There is 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. On the front software, the handset comes pre-loaded with Android 12 OS out of the box based Realme UI 3.0 software.

In terms of optics, the Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX766 sensor), a 50MP ultrawide camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor) and a 150° field-of-view. The smartphone also has a 2MP ultra macro camera as well. At the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera (Sony IMX615 sensor).

Powering the Realme GT 2 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery unit with 65W fast charging. The smartphone has a USB Type-C port, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. In terms of connectivity options, it offers a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and dual-band GPS.

Realme India announced on Twitter that the Realme GT 2 Pro will launch in India on April 7, 2022, at 12:30 PM. The Realme GT 2 series consists of two devices: Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. The company is yet to reveal the offical pricing and availability details of its latest GT 2 Pro smartphone.
